What type of clothing should I wear for winter in Adelaide? I'm from a tropical country!?

What type of clothing should I wear for winter in Adelaide? I lived in the Philippines all my life, where it's usually hot and humid. I've never experienced winter. The coldest I've ever experienced is about 17�C, and that was only once when we went to Baguio, a relatively high-altitude city here in the Philippines. So I'm a bit worried as to what sort of jackets/coats/boots I should bring. I'm going to Adelaide this coming July. Help!
